Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

By creating an account or using PrioBoard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. We’ve tried to keep this readable.

1. The Service

PrioBoard provides web-based collaboration tools for agile teams — including real-time retrospective boards, planning poker, and related team features. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use PrioBoard.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PrioBoard to:

  • Violate any law or third-party rights.
  • Upload, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, infringing, malicious, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users’ accounts, or our infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, including via automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, or excessive load.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where expressly permitted by law.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in PrioBoard (retrospective notes, stories, votes, comments, etc.). By using the service, you grant PrioBoard a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely so we can operate the service for you and your team.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights to share it with your collaborators.

5. Team Roles

Teams have admins, members, and invited guests. Admins can manage membership, settings, and content within their team. If you invite teammates to a team, you are responsible for ensuring they have permission to access the content shared there.

6. Third-Party Integrations

PrioBoard offers optional integrations with third-party services such as Atlassian Jira, and may add more over time. Integrations are opt-in: you choose to connect them by providing your own credentials (e.g., an API token).

  • You are responsible for your use of any third-party service and for complying with that service’s terms.
  • You must have the right to grant PrioBoard access to the data the integration retrieves on your behalf.
  • Third-party services may change, throttle, or terminate their APIs at any time. We are not responsible for outages or behavior changes outside our control.
  • You can disconnect an integration at any time from your profile settings, and you should also revoke the credential with the third-party provider when you no longer want PrioBoard to access it.

See the Privacy Policy for details on what data integrations access and how credentials are stored.

7. AI Features

PrioBoard offers AI features powered by Anthropic’s Claude API — summaries of standups and retros, retro card suggestions based on recent standup answers, and theme inference (blockers, wins, shout-outs) on standup answers. These features only run when a team member clicks an AI button; there is no background processing.

  • Acceptable use:don’t use the AI features to generate content that violates Anthropic’s Usage Policies. That includes the obvious categories (harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content) but also prompt injection or attempts to extract the system instructions.
  • No warranty on AI output:AI-generated summaries, suggestions, and theme inferences can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Treat them as drafts. Don’t rely on them for decisions where accuracy matters without reviewing the underlying content yourself.
  • Your content stays yours:we don’t claim any ownership of content you submit to AI features, and Anthropic does not train on it under their commercial API terms.
  • Team-level disable: a team admin can turn AI features off for the entire team. When disabled, no content is sent to Anthropic for that team.
  • Cost guardrails: AI calls are rate-limited per user per day. Limits may change as we learn how the features are used.

See the Privacy Policy for what data is sent to Anthropic and how Anthropic handles it.

8. Privacy

Your use of PrioBoard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, where it’s stored, and how it’s used.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages. Status updates are posted at status.prioboard.com.

10. Termination

You may stop using PrioBoard at any time and request account deletion via team@prioboard.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the service or other users.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrioBoard and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
